Perky I need your help!

You really need to get some Skype goin, I would like to learn some C# but I need a mentor. I can't learn by just reading a pdf like I've been attempting. You mentioned one time you knew C++ and C# is quite close.

Im a bit rust now and may need a bit refresher for c++ but c# may have a similair name but is quite a different ball game.

C++ is for a more varible intergration system better for more complex and in depth yet easily organized way of programming

common use: games ranging from fps to rpg 2d or 3d

C# is more directed in computer programming directly rather than gaming, but if used for gaming it can get a bit clustered. It is a set of of c+(lower and lest complex and much more cluster and un organized) that sets up as a running launcher that uses its set of library's givin to pull out command make you make a variable and binary for every simple set.

Let me put it in simpler term:
c++ : hard to learn but easy after maybe 6-8 months aof practice
c+ : just not worth it though may make c++ easyier to understand.
c# : offset of c+ so harder but still a bit more organized. made for more of a smaller set game but with the work of a bigger one.

So it also depends what you are using it for.

So conclusion: I can't really help unless i learn it my self, and with my personality i cant work backwards through anything. i can try to help wtih simple stuff they have in common like varibles and what not but otherwise im clueless.

C# works the .net framework, Ultima Online uses it ( or the private shard I have does.).its a mix of Java and C++. I don;t think it would be that hard for someone who knows an advanced language like C++. Though I've been reading a pdf though. We should have a general programming thread/topic.
